Happy 1st Birthday Leila!

So it has almost been a month since our last post! We have finally emerged from all of our moving boxes and are pretty much settled in our new place. We love our new home and have been working like crazy to make it to our taste. Amir even built a fabulous window seat for our bay window, which we'll have to show later.

Also, Leila, just turned one year old. On her actual birthday we went to the park and she had her first taste of cake (carrot). Then on the weekend she had a birthday party. Her two grandmothers came and helped us a lot and we were joined by several friends and Leila's two friends, Maya and Hailey to make it fun. We had a great day in our backyard out in the warmth and sun celebrating Leila and our first year of parenthood under our belt.
