What a busy and fun week we've had. Angela, Rachel's cousin from London, came to visit. We did a lot of shopping, winetasting, and eating out. Angela even spoiled us with an evening out in San Francisco----something we haven't done in awhile. It was great seeing her and we miss her already!

We left Leila with a babysitter and went and had a good time out on the town. Here we are after a few drinks (very obvious by the look on Rachel's face).

The new year has started and Leila is growing by leaps and bounds ! She is is becoming a ton of fun to play with. Very responsive, playful, and so happy. She puts smiles on both our faces all the time . Here are some pictures from the last week.

This child can be in the jumper forever. Even if you take her out after a significant amount spent on it, she will get a little annoyed.

Happy Birthday to Amir!!! Leila was sleeping during the festivities. She threw Amir a party earlier in the day.

We forgot to include this cute picture in the last update. When we were down in LA, Leila got to meet Charlotte (our very good friend) for the first time. Leila liked Charlotte immediately!

Christmas 2006

Leila had a great Christmas in Los Angeles, as we all did! Santa really spoiled her this year! It was a wonder we managed to get everything in our car. Aside from toys, she got her two front teeth (which look pretty darn cute!) and she started to say "Mama", which she proudly says over and over again and to anything and everything. As of yesterday she has added to her language repertoire the word "cat". Good job Leila! Amir is still wondering when she's going to say "Dada"!
