First Camping Trip: Morro Bay, CA

We just got back from a lovely weekend camping in Morro Bay (San Luis Obispo) with our friends the Stone family (and baby Hailey) and Andrew and Mikalena and the dogs: McKenzie and Callie. We think Leila really enjoyed herself. She thought the tent thing was a little strange, probably wanted to know where the heck her crib went. All in all we had a great time and we look forward to our next camping adventure!

All bundled up at the campsite with four-legged friend McKenzie.

Leila in her nice warm coat.

Sitting down for breakfast with our friends minus the one taking the photograph (Patrick).

Enjoying a beautiful day in Morro Bay.

Getting ready to go home and all smiles. We had so much fun....bye bye Morro Bay!

Nana and Grandpa came to stay for the weekend. They haven't seen me in awhile and couldn't believe how big I've gotten. While they were here we went to Stinson Beach and went on a long walk (I slept in my sling the whole time). We also went to dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant called Dona Tomas (I was asleep on Dada's lap.) On Sunday we walked to the Farmer's Market to buy fruits and vegetables and guess what......I was asleep! It was sad to see them go :(

Auntie Leah, Uncle Greg, and Ethan stopped by for a visit on their way home from Fallen Leaf Lake. It was fun hanging out with them. I miss having them around.

Its really hard for Mama to photograph me smiling-----she almost did this time!

Lots of Visitors!
This week we had many people stopping by to see me.

This is me and Angeles, she knitted me a beautiful blanket.

Visiting with Joe and Danielle, visiting from New York.

I also got to meet Garrett, Dada's old college roommate, when he stopped by for a night on his way up to Oregon.

Leila's First Trip

I just got back from my first trip and plane ride. We went to Seattle to visit family and friends. I did very well on the plane ride there...I didn't even know I was on a plane because I was asleep!

While we were in Seattle, we stayed at Uncle Kamil and Aunt Jamie's house. I got to meet my cousin Noe (who is 6 months) and my uncle and aunt.

On our first day in Seattle we went out to lunch at University Village. I got to finally meet Lisa and baby Loui. Loui is a big boy!!

Noe and I hanging out on the couch.

Cousin Noe and me playing on the playmat! I'm having fun...don't know about Noe though.

Mama, Dada, me, Uncle Kamil, and Noe with downtown Seattle behind us.

We went and got photos taken with Noe and I got to have my picture taken too! Aren't I the cutest!!!

The cousins together.....how cute!

Loui's mom is Mama and Dada's good friend Lisa. They live in Paris.

August 7th----I am 2 months old today!

Time to go home! After being such a good girl the whole trip, including the plane ride there, I decided to cry as loud as I could for what seemed to my parents like an eternity! Really, it was only 10 minutes and Mama and Dada did get complimentary cocktails because of me.
