Saturday morning Leila woke up and found her voice! She has discovered a kind of growl-like noise that she happily performs over and over all day long. It's almost as if she wanted to be a little monster for Halloween!

Leila's Baptism

On October 21st Leila was baptized at Our Lady of Malibu Church. It was a lovely ceremony with friends and family in attendance. Leah and Karim are Leila's godparents. Everyone celebrated and feasted back at the Dawson household, sweltering in the ridiculously hot southern California weather. We had a great time seeing people we haven't seen since before Leila was born! and of course, we loved that many people travelled quite a distance to be there with us....thank you! Leila was on her best behavior and did not cry at all on her special day....even after being passed around to 35+ people! I guess she's just a super-baby! :)

Trip to LA




















Mama and I took a trip down to Los Angeles to help celebrate Auntie Leah's birthday and the opening of Seraphine Studio. Here is a picture of Auntie Leah in front of her beautiful new art studio. Mama was a little nervous about flying with me by herself, but I was very good. We did miss Dada a lot though on our trip.














I decided to go and visit Grandpa's office so everybody could see just how cute I am. :)
