Babyproofing, babyproofing, babyproofing. Amir and I are still figuring out day by day what we need to put away, protect with bumpers, whatever, as Leila has just become mobile. Last weekend, while visiting family in LA, Leila finally figured out how to crawl on all fours. Now she is getting up on her toes and trying to pull herself up to stand as well! She is in Super Explorer Mode and nothing is standing in her way.

Life for her parents has become a little more tiring.

The current preferred way of moving around our apartment. We have been told by numerous people that Leila's "crawling", is very unique. She slides on her head and pushes off with her feet.




















Leila got to meet our friend Geoff and his girlfriend Jody, who were visiting from New York. We had a great time this weekend...eating! Geoff is a professional chef, so there was a lot of cooking going on. :)

We went to go check out the Queen Mary II (the largest ship to ever come into the San Francisco Bay). Leila was so interested! (I think she was snoring here.)
